Betal web series review action zambie copied from satyaraj doraa movie

Zombie movies or series are one among the genre which is highly left untapped by Indian market probably because it is hard to get it right and in the midst of that makers have tried to tap that market.

A story of village in which a tunnel is believed to be haunted. This tunnel comes as hindrance between a highway is planned to be created and a special squad is called to evacuate the villagers who stand against to open this tunnel. The squad has 24 hours in hand before CM arrives to inaugurate this new development. But everything goes haywire when tunnel gets opened and squad is attacked by zombie like creatures. The rest of the story is about survival and stop these zombies before they destroy mankind at large.

The story with pinch of corruption, patriotism, naxals etc has been added to give depth to the main theme. A world created by makers though has some liberality taken doesn't discount the fact that something new is offered and to a great extent sticking to the genre. The climax though is cliche it surely glue yourself to the screen.

The bloodshed and violence has been rightly picturised makes you cringe and at the same time feel intrigued. The scare jumps and horror is brilliant to say the least. Every actor has given equal importance and to name few Vineet Kumar, Ahaana Kumra, Suchitra, Manjiri etc have dome their part well as demanded by the script.

The local dialect added to make it suit the climate of series works in its favour. Also, the background score is equally good. I don't have much complaints with it and spending just 3 hours for this riveting drama won't harm you in anyway. It isn't always necessary to compare Indian product with foreign items and thus enjoy this new ride. #knight reviews # Netflix #betal

Thithi four generations of village drama

watched Thithi.I don't remember another movie that can be mistaken for a dry documentary of life in an Indian village captured by Western eyes, but isn’t. It would have been just that if there wasn't a story teller.
The cast I am told are amateurs. And if that be true, then the casting director needs a huge pat on their back. So easy are the portrayals by the characters that you don't think that they are acting. It is like the camera is capturing life- as it is.

The story teller tells it like the bearded character Gaddappa narrates his story in a long monologue. There is no drama. No gestures. Just plain narration very much like the director has told us the story. The shepherds all sit in front of him awestruck and bewildered until the end; when he says aloud that he wonders if all that he said was life as it had happened or his dream the previous night. The shepherds now don't know whether they were just taken for a ride or did they hear the deepest secrets of an old man that he probably is narrating for the first time. It is during this narration that the viewer would appreciate why Gadappa is the philosophical wanderer that he is- detached from the world.
The director also leaves us with a similar feeling as the movie ends. Like Kavery wants Abhi to find her wherever she is and marry her, viewers will also go looking for the director and his movies.

The movie starts with just the voice of Century Gowda who passes commentary on the passersby. And in that commentary he takes the viewer through what someone who has lived a 100 years has seen. Century Gowda was a very nice character that was being fleshed out, but he doesn't last long. He passes while passing urine. And then we are introduced to his near and dear ones. The viewer is given time to understand and appreciate the relationships between the characters.
The great grandson has his way of earning money, the grandson is struggling with his farm, the son is the philosophical wanderer.

The movie is not just about the sons but also about a village and her people told without romanticising the village beauty or the people that live there . It is a story about the struggles - within and without- of every man The priorities that men have at different ages.

The young great grandson is happy go lucky and doesn't really sorry about squandering money gambling. He has a girl to follow, friends to drink with, sand to mine illegally and friends again to pull him out of trouble. .
The grand son is struggling to meet societal expectations. He wants the land which his father will not take the effort to write in his name. And so he has to find devious ways to make some money.
The son has seen life and like he tells the shepherds to be happy with what you have, he is. Although he does steal a ₹100 from a stranger's pocket.
This technically sound movie with a tight screenplay and wonderful cast is philosophical and yet laced with humour. It is so real that it blurs the borders of reality and story telling.

Was that a movie that I watched? Or just last nights dream?

Apocalypto Review

Mel Gibson, I hail o! I recently watched this movie and was surprised that it was produced about 14 years ago! I particularly enjoy movies set in ancient or futuristic times. Apocalypto certainly got my attention from the get go, and I could watch it a hundred times over. It renews a certain kind of respect in me for directors like Mel. I mean, how does one come up with such a plot and execute it so well?! Right from 'The Passion of The Christ', which was such a marvellous rendition of a true story and a masterpiece, I knew Mel was an amazingly good director.
Writing a review doesn't do it justice at all, so I recommend you go ahead watch it already. It's not just about the accurate details and depiction of the ancient Mayan culture, lifestyle and communities; but about some real vital lessons and virtues shown that are still very relevant today.
While some critics argue that the Mayans were not as brutal and savage as was portrayed in the movie, and that they didn't indulge in blood sacrifices which was more of the Aztecs; they forget that no community whether now or then, is all good or all bad. Apocalypto, quite frankly attempted to show both sides of the coin. And it was a success.
Ofcourse there will be many negative reviews and opinions, but the positive far outweighs them all.
Once again, I hail oh

Edge of Tomorrow is an impressive sci-fi thriller

Movie Title
 :
Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow is an impressive sci-fi thriller
Director :Doug Liman
Star Cast:Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton
The time-shifting sci-fi thriller Edge of Tomorrow has perfectly encapsulated what it is to be a summertime moviegoer. We're dropped into a battlefield of digital effects with the fate of the world at stake. Torrents of gunfire and explosions surround. Some alien clonks us over the head.
We black out and it all happens again. And again.
Edge of Tomorrow, in which Tom Cruise plays an officer who continually relives a day of combat against extraterrestrials, probably isn't a commentary on the repetitiveness of today's blockbusters. Its star, after all, has been the unchanging, unstoppable avatar of big summer movies.
But in the film directed by Doug Liman (SwingersThe Bourne Identity), the action-star persona of Cruise is put into a phantasmagorical blender. As military marketer Maj. William Cage, he's thrown into battle against his will by an unsympathetic general (the excellent Brendan Gleeson), and then finds himself stuck in a mysterious time loop.
Cruise dies dozens of times over and over, often in comical ways. Does this sound like a great movie, or what?
The selling point of Edge of Tomorrow may indeed be seeing one of Hollywood's most divisive icons reduced to Wile E. Coyote. He's like a real-life version of the video game Contra, with the code of seemingly endless life. Dying again and again, Cruise has rarely been so likable.
Based on the 2004 Japanese novella All You Need Is KillEdge of Tomorrow begins in the de rigueur fashion of news clips that catch us up on five years of alien invasion that has ? with historical symmetry ? encompassed Europe and left the beaches of northern France as the primary point of battle.
Cage is dumped on an aircraft carrier, callously sent into battle by a commanding officer (a very fun Bill Paxton, spouting lines like, Battle is the great redeemer in a Kentucky accent), and outfitted in a high-tech exoskeleton he doesn't know how to operate. When he lands on Normandy or thereabouts, he's an easy target for the aliens, dubbed Mimics.
The Mimics resemble black, scampering dreadlock wigs or electrified Rorschach Tests. When a particularly big one swallows Cage, his day resets. This is Groundhog Day with guns.
This time around, though, it's not Sonny and Cher that wake him up each day but a drill sergeant calling him "maggot." Whereas Bill Murray got to learn how to play the piano and fall in love, Cage must become a better killer. He strives to make it through the battle, getting a little further each time before dying. He quickly pairs with the most celebrated fighter in the war (Emily Blunt), who recognizes his strange predicament.
Edge of Tomorrow, which was penned by Christopher McQuarrie, Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth, entertains in its narrative playfulness ? another entry in the burgeoning fad of puzzle-making sci-fi, as seen in Inception and Looper. Few filmmakers have Liman's knack for smart plotting; his much earlier Go inventively connected three intertwined stories.
The zippiness does fade in the second half of Edge of Tomorrow. And the title (perhaps the most belabored way possible of saying "tonight") could also use a replay. But among countless sequels and remakes, the high-concept Edge of Tomorrow ? both a Tom Cruise celebration and parody ? is the right kind of a rerun.

The dark Knight Rises

If you don't like this movie, you're not a cinema lover, YOU either you've not seen Batman Begins & Understood the plans of Rahs Al Ghul's plan to destroy Gotham,
Remember not all movies have to follow a same template, style, tone & set pieces & PLEASE don't watch this movie if YOU ONLY SAW "THE DARK KNIGHT" without watching """BATMAN BEGINS""" & blindly watch TDKR, You won't understand the chronological story of the trilogy.

It can be Epic as long as everything is compelling, I have nothing else to say apart from being Completely AWE by this Mind-blowing Epic Conclusion!

The movie starts with Bruce isolated & sad & takes us into the same feel & sets up various scenes as to how batman is doing after 8 years after he takes blame for Harvey dent's death & Nolan ensures that we are so emotionally invested, we literally feel sad & bleak & the tone was just perfect! Even though all the 3 movies were batman movies & by the time we are introduced to this menacing evil villain Bane, who is just mind boggling in this movie as this physical brute! You literally tremble just seeing him! Kudos to Nolan again coz Tom Hardy owned & was unbelievable in this movie! We feel all hope is lost! That's how much Nolan has put the stakes here & it's extremely convincing!

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman honestly surprised me she could just easily be an highlight in this film! YOU find her annoying at times but you understand she why did her acts in the movie & sorta sympathize with her & you want her to have a clean slate & move on in her life without any criminal records.

The rest of the cast as we all know are anyways Oscar winners, so you can expect the very best even if it's piece of cake for them.

Hans Zimmer just knocked it outta the park here & trust me guys the last 1 hr of this movie is an experience that will not be forgotten in a long time! Once in a lifetime!

2hr 45mins is just timings but every single second worth it!

This is a very emotionally satisfying movie that needs to be only watched in IMAX 3D! Worth every penny!

The dark knight rises is just freaking Awesome!
Christopher Nolan Stole the freaking damn show!

5/5 stars for me & the best film of the trilogy due to its very complex story (Yup more complex than The Dark Knight, although Dark Knight is more philosophical & Makes Batman do some impossible choices which questions his moral code, Here in TDKR Batman has no other choice but to fight the Evil which has taken over Gotham in such a devastating way), Joker still gets the slight edge as the villain for me over Bane who's equally good like Joker but a physical way, but Due to the fact Joker did the one thing Bane didn't do, As Joker converted the White Knight of Gotham Harvey Dent into somebody nobody ever in their dreams thought would've happen, Make him into two face turning dent into an EVIL guy & make Joker's claim about people showing their true colours when they lose everything true.

The dark Knight

The sequel we deserved to the Batman we wanted...

Heath Ledger ( joker ) is a legend!

Well here it is, one of the most anticipated movies of the year so far. How was it? It was excellent. By far the best Batman film ever made and of course it will be one of the most memorable action films for a long while.

Everyone was waiting to see how well Heath Ledger performed as The Joker in this film. He definitely deserves an Oscar in his honor. The character was so dark and creepy that it sent chills up my back. Compared to Heath's other films like '10 Things I Hate About You' and even 'Brokeback Mountain' proves that this man could actually act, doesn't matter what character, he could do it.

The film's storyline has many twists and all are rewarding, the story is developed constantly after each scene, making you wonder what's next. Excellent craft and flows well towards the conclusion.

During the film on the scene with Batman against the Joker, Bike vs Truck. People thought this was the ending. No, it kept going which was awesome, the story kept getting darker and darker, I guess that's why they called it the 'Dark' Knight as well as the relation to Batman himself.

The cast was great. With Christian bale playing Batman, good performance, Heath Ledger played extremely well, Maggie was annoying at times, but still deserves to be praised. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman had minor roles which satisfied the audiences. Aaron Eckhart starts with a minor role which slowly progresses and becomes evil which is quite surprising and entertaining to watch.

Great directing made the movie enjoyable, they added more action this time which made the film feel powerful, lighting was done well especially showing Harvey/ Two Face's face in the many moods he displayed.

Great explosions made it entertaining. Made you feel great that this is finally the best action to come in a long time.

This movie deserves a 10/10 rating and credit on behalf of the great young actor Heath Ledger's life. (May he R.I.P) His performance made what this film is right now.

I recommend this film for any action fan, especially a Batman fan. Or if your even a Heath Ledger fan. Go ahead right now and see this film. It's great!he sequel we deserved to the Batman we wanted...

BATMAN BEGINS REVIEW

If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal and if they can't stop you, then you become something else entirely.

Which is?
Legend.

If you are bored of brawling with petty thieves and want to achieve something there is a rare blue flower on the eastern slopes.
Pick one of these flowers.
If you can carry it to the top of the mountain you may find what you were looking for in the first place.

I seek the means to fight injustice.
To turn fear against those who prey on the fearful.

To manipulate the fears in others you must first master your own.

Death does not wait for you to be ready!
Death is not considerate or fair!

My anger outweighs my guilt.
You have learnt to bury your guilt with anger.
I will teach you to confront it and face the truth.
You know how to fight six men.
We can teach you how to engage 600.
You know how to disappear.
We can teach you to become truly invisible.
The ninja understands that invisibility is a matter of patience and agility.
Always mind your surroundings.
Ninjitsu employs explosive powders.
As weapons or distractions
Theatricality and deception are powerful agents.
You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent.

Criminals thrive on the indulgence of society's understanding. You have sacrificed sure footing for a killing stroke. But I know the rage that drives you. The impossible anger strangling the grief until the memory of your loved one is just poison in your veins. And one day, you catch yourself wishing the person you loved had never existed so you'd be spared your pain. Like you, I was forced to learn there are those without decency who must be fought without hesitation, without pity. Your anger gives you great power. But if you let it, it will destroy you as it almost did me. Who knows, Master Wayne, you start pretending to have fun you might even have a little by accident. Your antics at the asylum have forced my hand. The movement back to harmony will be unstoppable this time. If someone stands in the way of true justice you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart. You took my advice about theatricality a bit literally.

UPGRADE REVIEW

What a refreshing story!
This was a great movie from start to finish, there were some strange plot twists that didn't quite make sense but I loved it. Some bits seemed like Venom or the Hulk but overall the movie struck new ground.Upgrade is a unique and interesting film. With a unique plot and setting it explores how a young man seeks justice for the death of his wife. His transformation and enhanced abilities because of the AI Stem were a treat to watch. The action scenes and story was easy and enjoyable to follow. We wanted to see his path to revenge and there was a small dose of humor so you didn't take the film too seriously. The twist at the end was also well done and how it tied the whole film together. We get used to pinning the blame on a person but it was not what you think.

It has it's foundation as a standard revenge movie against a mysterious group (similar to the Bourne movies) however the sci-fi element is still believable. The plot was well executed with the plot twists actually surprising me. Add in some well executed fight scenes and a nice sprinkle of grindhouse gore (thanks to some of the staff from the Saw franchise being involved in this movie).

At about 90 min (not counting the credits) it stays entertaining and is well paced. There weren't any moments where I felt the main character was intentionally doing something dumb in order to create tension. It was definitely a movie I felt satisfied with after it ended.

It turns out that this is a great effort from all parties involved. The acting is good and the main characters especially are both believable and relatable. The directing is polished and the cgi, which so often is the downfall of smaller budget sci fi, is both restrained and appropriate. It's also very well done and believable.

The story is strong and I feel this movie is more of a success than recent big budget sci fi like the poor efforts of "Solo", "Ready Player One", or "Pacific Rim Uprising ".It was really the story that blew me away though. It was so well executed and I found the ending to be somewhat haunting. It's a movie that I'm going to be thinking about for a while. It has just the right mixture of drama, action and humour. It truly does take the best of other sci fi films and creates it's own story. If you're on the fence about watching it, give it a chance. With a runtime of only around 1.5 hours, it's not a huge thing to lose on the off chance you don't like it.

Any fan of terminator will love this augmented humanoid movie.

Go in with an open mind, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

one time watch.

8/10

MADE IN HEAVEN REVIEW

Web series launched on Women’s Day, directed by wise women’s like Rima kagdi & Zoya Akhtar. It’s theme of Madonnas song “A Matterial Girl”.

It’s ugly reality of urban families, their show off and dark sides of middle class girls.

It’s story and ugly reality of Tara, who cheats to get a rich husband.

Jasmindar, starts liking Kabir once she comes to knows that he is a wealthy person and having large friends circle.

Sukhamani have two sides, one is at any cost she wants to go USA, even her husband is impotent. And another perspective is, why some girls feel unworthy and wants to run away from the country or our society?

Aliya’s is gold digger and she emotionally blackmails groom when her truth reveals that she had an abortion.
But later she compromises, thinking about 5000 cr property of the grooms family.

Harsimaran - Represent, all the fool girls around us. Who easily gets trapped in stardom or men’s personality. It’s common problem of Indian girls. It shows, most of the girls don’t have their own perspective about themselves, those girls are easily carried away with the flow.

Gitangali Sinha, UK based banker, cheats her husband for a ritual of marrying to a tree. It shows, how girls are scared. Even they are well educated. It will take a century for women to overcome this type of fear.

Divyani Singh, well educated women, a pilot, cover ups molestation, on top of that a poor girl who was molested compromises for money. But, you can’t judge her. It’s her situation.

Tarana Ali, wants music video before marriage as her memory, which costs her father a lot. Who borrow money for marriage. She only thinks about herself and she has shown one of the worst category girl. Unfortunately such girls are around us.

Three stories are inspiring.
Priyanka Mishra, who walks away from shadi mandap, once she comes to know about Dowry.

Nutan Yadav, gets help to marry a Christian boy, to whom she loves dearly.

Gayatri, a widow, after spending thirty years lonely she somehow gets married to a nice Bengoly man.

Good to see, gay rights struggle, right wing has shown negatively but not too much. Most of the names are combination of two religions.

There are many good stories and characters, like change in attitude of Karan , Tara and Ramesh Gupta. Unbiased young generation like “Minal Gupta”.

Kabir- Very Neat and composed character.

Adil - Though he is having affair. He controls situations nicely. He is not skeptical about anything.

It looks like only Kabir and Minal are living life completely. Rest all characters are running behind something. And for that they are ready to do anything.

Kalki have character of a girl who caught with Adil. It’s very confusing whether he is using and exploting her or he is serious.

It’s nicely shown how Women’s have become victims of materialistic life style.

There are many fine moments/dialogue in the series like.. Karn says.. “Ship of honesty has already sailed” .. or Tara wears all jewelry like a Goddess but internally how much she is broken.

‘Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya’ movie review: A welcome petrichor

Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is built on the of masculinity and rage. It questions the need for virility and the extent men can go to flaunt....
